Authenticator
The following instructions are for connecting your Microsoft 365 account to the Microsoft Authenticator app to securely connect to Pine-Richland’s RDS server.
Using a smartphone, you will need to download and install the app from the app store on your device. Search for Microsoft Authenticator. The icon pictured above is the correct app.

Part 2: Download App on Your Phone
- On your
phone,smartphone, download the Microsoft Authenticator app - Open the app and allow notifications if
prompted, allow notifications.prompted. - Add an

school".

Microsoft Account Issues
If it doesn't accept your @prrams.org email try changing the domain on your email to @pinerichland.org. Example: 12FLastname34@pinerichland.org.
Switching to a New Smartphone
On your school issued Chromebook or other device (not the phone you will be registering) in a web browser navigate tohttps://mysignins.microsoft.com/security-infoUnder “Security info”, click Delete beside "Microsoft Authenticator"In the “Add a method” window choose “Authenticator app” in the dropdown and click AddIf you haven’t downloaded the app, you will now be prompted to do so, then NextOn your phone, if prompted, allow notifications.Add an account, and select "Work or school".Use the Authenticator app to scan the QR code1 and follow thepromptsprompts.
Part 3: Access RDS From Your Chromebook
- Open a browser and Log into https://rds.pinerichland.org
- Enter your username (NO @prrams.org)
- Enter your password
- If you are off-campus your phone will prompt you to authenticate by entering a number in the app.
